Teacher Librarian Day 2012: Primary Passion

We're sorry for those who signed up to attend our originally scheduled TLD on February 3, but the Colorado weather got the better of us. Fortunately, we've rescheduled and almost all of our original presenters are available for the new date!

The Teaching with Primary Sources Western Regional Center, in conjunction with History Colorado and the Auraria Library, is (AGAIN) offering our annual one-day workshop for .5 credits through Adams State on March 8, 2012.

After our success from 2011, we are again adopting the format used by the world-renowned TED conference (talks from TED may be viewed for free here: http://www.ted.com). The format will consist of a suite of short, carefully prepared talks, demonstrations, and performances on a varying range of subjects to foster learning, inspiration, and wonder - and to provoke passionate conversations that matter.

Be ready for some surprising talks prompting you to make connections among seemingly unrelated ideas, which just so happens to be the very power of primary sources!

Once again, sub reimbursement available to the first 100 registrants!
